HXD-N - How to activate 30 day trial and paid license

Included in your HXD-N is an optional 30 day free trial.

Signing in from your HXD-N

To register the device and proceed further, you will need to first create a new account or sign in with an existing account.

It is highly recommended you sign in to your HXD-N via a registered Hema Maps Cloud account, as signing in will allow you to receive regular updates and support for your HXD-N, to back up and share trip data, and to unlock premium map content and navigation features available to you.

Your HXD-N In-dash Navigator is powered by the HemaX Digital platform.

NOTE:
1. By signing up for a Hema Maps Cloud account you are accepting the HXD-N and Hema Maps Cloud account terms and conditions and the Hema Maps Pty Ltd Privacy Policy, the HemaX Digital Privacy Policy and the HERE Technologies End User Licence Agreement.

2. You can initiate the setup process again from the tutorial menu at any time in order to register a new Hema Maps Cloud account or you can login using your existing Hema Maps Cloud account credentials.

Setting up your new Hema Maps HXD-N GPS Navigator

Once logged in, you have the option to “Activate now” or “Start a free trial”.

For full activation:

Tap the “Activate Now” button.

Activation instructions:

• Wait a few seconds and the system will display a popup with instructions on how to proceed with the activation.
• Open a browser on a computer or phone and navigate to https://cloud.hemamaps.com/devices (QR Code can be used on phones) and sign in with the same account used on the device.

Cloud activation pricing

• A page showing the activation price will be displayed.
• Tap the “Activate Now” button.

• From here it will display a confirmation message and option to input a discount coupon.
• Click on “Continue” to proceed to the payment page.

Provide payment details and confirm payment.
Once payment is confirmed, the user will be redirected to a success activation page on the cloud.

Activating your HXD-N

Activation successful

• The device should automatically detect the activation in a few seconds and show a “Congratulations” message.
• Swipe right and tap on “Let’s Go” to proceed to the home screen.

Home screen full activation

• Once on the home screen on the device. The activation status can be seen below the map buttons.
• On a full activation, the “Renew now” button will only be displayed 30 days before it expires.

Free trial confirmation

For free trial:

• Tap the “Start a free trial” link and tap “Yes”.

Free trial successful

• Wait a few seconds while the system validates the request. If everything is okay, a “Congratulations” message will appear showing how long the trial is valid for (30 days).
