[Installing the new software](https://kb.hemamaps.com/hema-nav?hsLang=en#installing-the-new-software) # New Software - Installing map updates on the new software Once the app has opened, read through the latest patch notes and hit ‘**OK**’. ![kb40](https://kb.hemamaps.com/hs-fs/hubfs/kb40.png?width=688&height=402&name=kb40.png) Please download and install the apps (**one at a time**) starting with the **Hema Launcher. ** **Please Note:** If you're loading this software on a **HX-2** model and the last 5 digits of your serial number ends in **11059** or lower, you will need to reach out to tech support for further assistance.
