4wd Map app - Not Logging / Recording Tracks

some settings to check if your app is not logging at all

If you have started your logging but while travelling no breadcrumb trails have been left behind there are 3 settings to check. 

1. You need to reset the app gps settings. - Open loging Page , select settings → GPS Settings → and change the setting  “Record track while app is backgrounded” to Automobile/Car, This will reset your GPS Connection in the app

2. Location permissions has been denied. Check the Permissions of the 4WD Map app in the Settings on your device (not the app settings). Check that Location Permission has been set to allow or allowed while app is running. 

3. Apple Specific - The iPad is a wifi only Ipad.  These iPads have no gps chips and will not be able to locate your position on the app.
