Hema Nav 2026 August Update

Devices supported:

This update will release initially in Wave 1 for the HX-2 (32GB), HX-2+, HR-1 Nav, Alpine HX-Z8 and Alpine HX-Z6 devices.

The HX-2 (16GB) device update will include the New Hema Updater and Hema Hub in Wave 1, 2026.Q2 Hema Nav map and Hema Nav update to follow soon in Wave 2.

How to tell which HX-2 model you have:
16GB: If your unit's serial number ends in 11059 or lower.
32GB: If your unit's serial number ends in 11060 or higher.

The HX-BOX, HX-M1 and AMHXD3 devices will also receive this update in Wave 2.

Update process:

1. Turn on your device.
2. Connect your device to Wifi internet. NOTE: Ensure you use a stable and reliable internet connection, preferably a home or office Wifi connection. Mobile style internet/Wifi (such as mobile hotspot or Starlink) can work but may not always provide a strong enough connection.
3. Go into ‘Updates’ and locate the “Hema Update Manager” 3.0.0 package. Press the orange button to begin the download process. Once the same button turns green, press it again to install the package.

1. Re-open ‘Updates’ - you will now see the following interface

1. Press the “Update All (#)” button in the top right corner.
2. Allow all updates to download and install. Ensure all updates have installed, they will show as “Up to Date” in green when successfully downloaded.
3. Exit the Update Manager by pressing the orange H in the top right corner. All updates should be installed and ready to use.
4. You should now see the new Hema Hub as your Home screen as below:
