Some software supports lots of different formats, some support a few, and most support the more popular formats.
As an example, the Hema Office is located at:
27° 34' 41.9" S, 153° 5' 47.9" E
which is
27 degrees, 34 minutes, 41.8 seconds SOUTH, 153 degrees, 5 minutes 48.0 seconds EAST in Degrees, Minutes, Seconds format
which is
27.57830° S, 153.09666° E in Decimal Degrees format
which is
56S 509541E 6949519N in UTM format
So, you can see from this, that the same position can be represented in a number of ways.
