Duplicate Hema Icon on HX-BOX Home Screen

This article helps to fix the issue of a duplicate Hema icon appearing on the HX-BOX after the August 2026 update

If after completing the August 2026 updates for the HX-BOX you see a second Hema icon on the home screen, please follow the process below to refresh the Home screen:

1. Connect and load up the HX-BOX on your head unit

2. Open Settings and tap on All Apps

3. Scroll down the app list to find and tap Quickstep to open the app details:

4. Scroll down to find Storage and Cache

5. Tap on Clear Cache (1) and Clear Storage (2)

6. Tap on the Delete app data button when it appears as below (this is safe to do so):

7. Go back to the Home screen it should re-load and remove the duplicate shortcut to Hema:
