How to download maps to use Offline in the 4x4 Explorer App

To download the maps for offline use, please see the below instructions:

1. Tap on the three lines located on the top left to open a side menu.

2. Scroll down and tap on "Map subscriptions".

3. When loaded tap on "Your subscription you have purchased" Or select the free ones available "Hema Touring / OSM" and tap on "View Maps".

4. Select whichever state you would like to download and hit the "Download" button.

5. Once the state has finished downloading, please close (not minimise) the app and turn off any wi-fi or mobile data on your device. (We are mimicking an offline scenario, to make sure the maps work okay offline)

6. Then re-open the app to let the new maps configure and now you should be able to see the detailed maps of the state you have downloaded.

Note: If you still don't see your maps, tap on the map style button located on the top left (3 pieces of paper, stacked on top of each other) and select the Map Style you have recently downloaded, ten press "Done".

7. From here if you would like to download other states, follow the steps again. (Remember to turn your wi-fi or mobile data back on)
