On April 8, 2014, Microsoft ended support for the Windows XP operating system.

This does not mean your Windows XP PC will suddenly stop working.

It means that Microsoft will no longer be releasing updates for Windows XP.

This may lead to Windows XP computers becoming susceptible to malicious attacks, and other issues.

It would be prudent to ensure that any Windows XP PCs have decent and up to date antivirus and / or security software installed.
